The longest night of the year, The Winter Solstice, is happening this Friday night, December 21st.   This is a wonderful time to mimic what our natural world is showing us to help support balance within. The darkness has been building all winter,  like every year, and I don’t know about you, but for me it has felt like one of the darkest winters that has ever been!

The darkness outside helps to awaken our deepest inner compass to navigate through our darkness within. These days surrounding The Winter Solstice are calling for Immense Introspection.  Introspection is a Feminine quality.  It is the act of Receiving (also a Feminine Quality) Inner Wisdom that exists beyond all time and space.

Holding space for All That Is is also a Feminine Quality being called upon at this time. Holding Space is in a way a practice of acceptance, loving all the darkness and all the light equally without preference. Holding Space is a potent healing practice also rooted in The Feminine.

During this Winter Solstice, I believe the energy amongst us and most needed in our world today are these very qualities of Immense Introspection before any action is taken, Deep listening to Receive the Wisdom that comes forth and holding the Space for new beginnings as well as anything else that is coming up and out of the darkness to heal.

After the Winter Solstice, the days start to get lighter, the Masculine then comes in to take Action based on what was discovered, learned and healed during the Introspective Feminine Period.

Sometimes it can be difficult to get away from all of the distractions present in our modern world today to actually dive deep into this Introspective Space.

Often times, overwhelming emotions or stress or insomnia are clues to us that looking within to heal could actually be the relief we have been searching for.

If you would like assistance for deep introspective healing Acupuncture, Herbal Flower Medicine and/or Quantum Energy Soul Coaching are all beautiful and potent ways to facilitate this practice.

Happy  Winter Solstice!

May this Longest night of the Year bring you much inspiration, guidance and love.
